Island Star Gold Palm Tree Earrings

These gold palm tree earrings capture the moment a single star appears over the ocean while the sky turns a shimmery shade that's worthy of a photo. I cut these in my studio using cherry wood veneer and metallic leather. They're one-of-a-kind, just like a sunset over the sea.

Drop: 2¾" from the top of the ear wire
Teardrop: 1¼" at its widest
Leather: metallic gold finish, natural suede backing
Palm scene: cherry wood veneer, cut in my studio from a licensed pattern
Accents: clear crystal and a 6mm white star bead
Ear wires: 18K gold-plated stainless steel fishhook
